Text Box: PRAYER GUIDES FAITH ALIVE WEEKEND Our Prayer for the Faith Alive Weekend is written by Norma Booker. Heavenly Father, as we approach the upcoming Faith Alive Weekend, we ask that our minds and hearts be open to hear what You have for us. Help us to re-examine the promises that were made at our baptism and to rethink what those promises mean to us. Help us also to make a new relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in whose name we pray. AMEN. We will be saying this prayer between now and the Faith Alive Weekend. Text Box: FAITH ALIVE COMES TO ST. JOHN’S We will be having a Faith Alive Weekend at our church on Friday October 23rd, Saturday Oct. 24th, and Sunday October 25th. This will be the third time we have had such a weekend and many of you may remember how spiritually uplifting the first two were. So, what exactly is a Faith Alive Weekend? FAITH ALIVE IS A FUN-FILLED WEEKEND OF -FELLOWSHIP -PRAYER -MEDITATION, AND -FOOD A team of lay leaders from neighboring Episcopal parishes will come to St. John’s to lead us in this weekend. We will come to sing and share stories and grow in our faith.
