SUPPER SHOWS GOD’S LOVE

             Our next parish Pot Luck Supper is Saturday, February 14^th at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall. This is Valentine’s Day and that will be our theme. We know of course that all love comes from God. Our love for one another is a reflection of His love for us.

             Please come with:

                + food for yourself and to share

                + something red or pink to wear

                +a heart-themed item for the Penny

                        Sale

               + a Valentine for the grab bag

The warmth of fellowship and food draw us closer to God.

SHROVE TUESDAY SUPPER ENDS EPIPHANY

             We will have a Pancake Supper in our Parish Hall on Tuesday, February 24^th at 6:00 PM. This is Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday and Lent. Traditionally, it is a last celebration before the seriousness of Lent. This supper is our way of transitioning from Epiphany to Lent. Traditional foods for this meal include pancakes and sausages. We are asking a donation of $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for children just to defray the costs.

            

             This is part of our rhythm of moving through the church year, the major events in Jesus’ life. In this making our lives parallel to His life, we help to make ourselves one with Him.
